Missionary in Bolivia
Eden Johnson is an educational missionary in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Her first visit to Bolivia was at age 16 when she, along with a team of other teens, went to help the Fanning family with a youth camp. It was then that God put Bolivia on her heart. She returned for 4 months in 2011 to assist the Fannings homeschool their children.
After earning a degree in early childhood education, she moved to Bolivia as a missionary in 2016. Eden currently works with national pastor and missionary, Franz Carreón, and his family in the local church his father started over 45 years ago. She is a great help to the young ladies of the church. She is also involved in the music ministry, as well as teaching in the primary Sunday school department. The Lord has allowed her to travel to different departments of Bolivia, and even Peru, to help with music and to share her personal testimony of how God can use anyone!
Her main desire is to start a Christian school within their local church in Cochabamba. This is a difficult task due to the local regulations. It will require much work and time before a school can ever be opened. However, Eden believes the effort will be of much worth for the local Bolivian children to receive a Christian education.
