In addition to representing the following missionaries and national pastors ABMI is recognized as a non-profit organization on the Philippine Islands. The purpose of this recognition is to assist the local churches and pastors be legally represented before their government. As a result, ABMI is also responsible for approximately 21 churches on the Philippine Islands

The Divina Family
Missionary Evangelist in the Philippines
RR and Michaiah surrendered to missions evangelism in the Philippines in January 2024. They also serve as the Director of ABMI-Philippines. RR is a graduate of the Anchor Baptist Bible Institute and they are members of Anchor Baptist Church in Pisgah Forest, NC.
Partnering with local Independent Baptist churches in the Philippines, the Divinas have 4 goals to reach the Filipino people: Exalt Jesus Christ, Evangelize the Lost, Encourage the Saints and Equip the Church.
First and foremost they want to Exalt Jesus Christ, this involves representing His Work, Word and Worth. Evangelize the Lost, this involves when a person gets saved he/she will be in a heavy discipleship program in a local church. Encourage the Saints, their desire is to minister to the local churches all over Philippines through Revival meetings, Missions conferences, Youth camps/meetings, Bible conferences, Furlough relief and Itinerate fill in. Lastly, Equip the Church, which involves supplying Bibles, printing Gospel tracts, and any other literature material.
The Divinas have been married since January of 2021 and are members of the Anchor Baptist Church.
The Domingo Family
National Pastor in the Philippines
Nicanor Sto Domingo and His wife Ruth are nationals of the Philippine Islands. Nicanor started the Valenzuela Baptist Church in metro Manila. Through training of the other nationals, he now has leaders in his church who are able to help further its ministries. As a result, they have been able to start 4 additional mission outreaches in Bulacan, Rizal and Pasig City. They have also been able to send laborers out as missionaries from their local church to work in the country of Spain.
Nicanor and Ruth have been married since 1986. They have 4 children, Nemuel, Xaris xara, Xarin xara and Xatherine xara.

The Jurado Family
The Philippine Islands
Joel and Jhing Jurado are nationals of the Philippine Islands. Joel attended Bible College at the Anchor Baptist Bible Institute and returned directly back as a missionary to the Masbate Island where he was born. There, he started 2 new churches and reopened another that had closed down.
Joel and his family later moved to Ligao City and started the Anchor Baptist Church. This church also houses Anchor Baptist Blessed Academy which uses the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum. While continuing his work in Ligao City, he also helped another family start the Anchor Baptist Mission.
JOEL AND Jhing have been married since 2004. They have 2 children, Jether and JC.

The Owen Family
Missionaries in the Philippine Islands
Timothy and Gera Owen began ministering on her home island of Malapascua, Philippines, in 2006. The Owens made several trips to the Philippines throughout their 2-year deputation. In January of 2009 they were able to begin serving full-time.
Timothy and Gera spent 10 years growing Malapascua Missionary Baptist Church. During this, they were able to see many saved and join the church, including some members of Gera’s family. The ministry on Malapascua moves forward with the help of Brother Joel Lumaras, a Filipino national, as the pastor. The Owen Family is now working to start a new church on the island of Masbate.

The Solares Family
National Pastor in the Philippines
Giovanni (Vanni) is a national Pastor in the Philippine Islands. Vanni attended Anchor Baptist Bible Institute and graduated in 2002. Immediately after his graduation, Vanni returned to his home country to assist his senior pastor by becoming one of the key laborers of their church. Vanni and Geraldine were married in 2004, and within just a few months, took a mission survey trip to Legazpi City. In May of 2005, they moved to Legazpi City to start Anchor Baptist Church, where Vanni serves as pastor.
The Solares are serving the Lord thru various ministries; gospel tract printing and distribution, Bible studies in homes, for the blind, in offices, schools, with fire and police departments, children’s feeding programs, and a church-based Bible Institute. They have started mission churches, using men and families who have been trained through the local church. Vanni and Geraldine’s prayer is that a Christian school will also be established within the church.
Vanni and Geraldine have 3 children: Evangeline , Ivangerald and Ivannah.
