Missionaries in Chile, South America

Tom and Connie Robertson arrived in Chile in 1981. They began working on the southern side of the capital city of Santiago. There they cleared and cleaned a chicken coop where Connie then began holding Sunday school for the neighborhood children, while Tom began teaching the adults and teenagers in the Robertson home. In February 1994, they turned over this church to a national pastor and moved four hours south to a country area where there was no type of Gospel witness.  This has been a much harder area in which to work. There is very little interest in spiritual things and most people are Roman Catholic or a type of Pentecostal/Methodist.  Please pray that God will open the eyes and hearts of these dear people and that many will come to know the Lord as their Savior.

The Robertsons have been married since 1976 and are members of the Anchor Baptist Church in Pisgah Forest, NC.  They have 15 children; 7 biological children and 5 adopted children (Yasna Mellado Maripillan and Gonzalo Mellado Maripillan seen in photo above) from Chile.
